Hello there everyone! I am excited to announce the opening of the Arthur Photography Contest 2021-22. The theme is "Home Away From Home" and it is all about the great and wonderful of Peterborough. To enter all you need to do is take between one and three photos of something, somewhere, or someone you feel encapsulates Peterborough or is unique to Peterborough.
To submit you work please complete this google form or email your name, pronouns, title of image, description of artwork, location of image, and social media handles to bethanbates@trentu.ca. The deadline for submission is January 23rd 2022.
Each week I, Bethan - communications coordinator, will be posting inspiration videos of places in Peterborough that you may be interested in photographing. However, we will accept photographs of any landscape, person, place, or event that you feel fits the theme.
Now onto what I know we are all thinking … prizes! There will be three winners selected, each will be published in the January print edition of Arthur in addition to cash prizes (for first and second) and beautiful art-maps of Peterborough (for all three winners).
The Fine Print: the Arthur Newspaper will not be making any profit from the production of these images, nor do we claim any copyright to works submitted to us. We are asking your permission to use any photos submitted as part of our photo bank that makes the basis of images for articles, if you do not wish for your photograph to be used in this manner please make this clear in your submission either via email or the google form. Photos may be taken at any time, not just within the contest window, however, they must belong to the person submitting the work.
The rich text element allows you to create and format headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, images, and video all in one place instead of having to add and format them individually. Just double-click and easily create content.
A rich text element can be used with static or dynamic content. For static content, just drop it into any page and begin editing. For dynamic content, add a rich text field to any collection and then connect a rich text element to that field in the settings panel. Voila!
"Headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, figures, images, and figure captions can all be styled after a class is added to the rich text element using the "When inside of" nested selector system."
