The (self-appointed) friendly neighbourhood journalist is making his big return to Arthur for Volume 59, resuming his coverage of local arts and culture, along with whatever media fixation he seems to have. Allen Barnier’s work is fuelled by unnecessarily specific Spotify playlists, Rhett & Link videos, the colour orange, and his undying love for the oxford comma.

Despite their athletic inadequacy throughout their youth, Allen also occasionally dives into the realm of sports journalism. He is an English Literature student in the Teacher Education Stream, and hopes to become a high school English teacher along the lines of Mr. Anderson from The Perks of Being a Wallflower.

They have won several local awards and scholarships with their writing in their hometown of St. Thomas, Ontario, including the Bob McCaig Sweetgrass Award for Community Education, and the Tammi Thwaites Scholarship for Language.

Allen can be seen in the Champlain Common Room dressed like a scrapped character from an 80s sitcom, flipping straight to the crossword section of a copy of Arthur.

What’s a Rich Text element?

The rich text element allows you to create and format headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, images, and video all in one place instead of having to add and format them individually. Just double-click and easily create content.

Static and dynamic content editing

A rich text element can be used with static or dynamic content. For static content, just drop it into any page and begin editing. For dynamic content, add a rich text field to any collection and then connect a rich text element to that field in the settings panel. Voila!

How to customize formatting for each rich text

Headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, figures, images, and figure captions can all be styled after a class is added to the rich text element using the "When inside of" nested selector system.
