A returning and enthusiastic Journalist for the Volume 59 Team, Kiki is a Thunder Bay born student studying in her second year of the Indigenous Studies program. With mixed Anishnaabe Settler ancestry and as a member of Whitesand First Nation, she brings an important and unique perspective to the Arthur.

Kiki enjoys writing (obviously) and engaging in heated debates about pretty much anything. She will also take every opportunity to interview an Indigenous artist and tell their story.

A former small business owner, Kiki has received a few local recognition awards for her cake decorating business and despite no longer selling her baked goods, enjoys occasionally making cupcakes for her friends. Kiki also holds a French Immersion certificate and can hold a conversation in French but doesn’t enjoy doing so  (sorry Quebec). She is more likely to want to impress you with the few Ojibwe words she knows and always looking to learn more.

If you were to ever see Kiki in the wild, you might catch her listening to old Justin Bieber songs or 80s hair metal with a Coffee or RedBull in hand.

What’s a Rich Text element?

The rich text element allows you to create and format headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, images, and video all in one place instead of having to add and format them individually. Just double-click and easily create content.

Static and dynamic content editing

A rich text element can be used with static or dynamic content. For static content, just drop it into any page and begin editing. For dynamic content, add a rich text field to any collection and then connect a rich text element to that field in the settings panel. Voila!

How to customize formatting for each rich text

Headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, figures, images, and figure captions can all be styled after a class is added to the rich text element using the "When inside of" nested selector system.
